High-precision machining
Since 1990 we have been machining ferrous and non-ferrous metals and plastics for aviation, space, defence, nuclear centres and the medical sector, as well as for general industry and machine building. From input at the concept stage to a measured and certified part.

From A to Z, with one supplier
We get involved from the concept stage: how do we make this part well, and how do we make it manufacturable? Then comes the work itself — to the required tolerances, and fully measured.
Surface grinding, sandblasting, ultrasonic cleaning, start-hole EDM and assembly are done in house. Alongside machining we also offer a range of finishing treatments through specialised partners, so that we can give our customers a complete solution. The necessary certificates and measurement reports can be supplied with the parts.

What you probably want to know
What exactly does Fijn Mekaniek Nelissen do?
We machine ferrous and non-ferrous metals and plastics — turning, milling and EDM — to produce and supply parts, replacement parts and prototypes. From one-offs to large series, including inspection measurement and certificates.
Which certificates does Fijn Mekaniek Nelissen hold?
EN 9100:2018 (technically equivalent to AS9100D) and ISO 9001:2015, under certificate number BE014750.
Where is Fijn Mekaniek Nelissen based?
At Vrijheidweg 3, 3700 Tongeren, in Belgian Limburg. The company has been in business since 1990 and has been in Tongeren since 1996.
Do you also make one-offs, or only series?
Both. We are equipped for the most complex prototypes as well as for large series, because we have 5-axis and multitasking machines as well as bar feeders and robots in house.
Is every part inspected?
Yes. Everything is inspected with great precision, in a climate-controlled inspection room.
